The Adventures In and Of Lump Abbey

 T here was once a good goblin named Glen who lived in The Mountain. He and his wife contained their secret for many years. One day he told his wife,"I want a child. But a child will let out our secret. We must move." His wife agreed. They took two ponies and left with many other items. Soon after [really actually about a year] they found a hill. Compared to The Mountain it was a small lump. So Glen named it The Lump. They dug it hollow and moved in. They had six children. When the children grew up one married a plump, short, leather-footed creature who disliked adventure above all else. The Lump housed several generations. The descendants of the short,fat creature and the little goblin became very odd and different from the others.

Elizebeth Clare Adamson, Joy as people called her, held her baggage close. The train whistle blew and the wheels clattered down the track. " Now remember , Joy," her father told her "This is just so you won't be around those angry businessmen from our competitors. That way you won't be so grumpy." He took their tickets and put them in his pocket. The "whoo hoo - whoo hoo" of the train got louder and louder. The clatter of its wheels erupted in a laughing loudness. Joy opened her hands and allowed her baggage to drop to the ground. She crossed her arms and stamped her foot impatiently. She heaved a long sigh and curled her lips slightly down in a cross look. The train's whistle then erupted with news of its coming. Its wheels rolled, clattering noisily. Joy stamped her foot once, showing impatience and anger. The train got closer and then pulled up to the station. No one came out of its cars, this was its first group for the day. Joy's fat...
