The Magical Study of Mirrors

                                           Prologue

   Dear reader, you have probably looked in a mirror before and noticed your reflection staring back at you. According to science, this is caused by light reflecting off the mirror glass. Thus, any magical existence in the mirror is looked down upon and therefore expelled from all wonder. Well, most of it anyways.
 But according to the study of the realms and the belief of magic, the mirror is a very magical component. It is created when two realms, almost exactly the same, touch face (almost literally except for the face part) and a rip occurs in the fabric of realms and magic. Thus, you see another being in the mirror, not yourself. The being lives a life almost exactly the same as yours, except that everything in the being's world is backwards.
 This presents the study of mirrors in an entirely different form. And thus, we have the The Magical Study of Mirrors. A book that teaches about mirrors from an entirely magical point of view.

                 Chapter 1: The Study of Between the Mirrors

  If these things are true, then why can't we enter the world on the other side? This question brings us to the subject of the Mirror Dwarfs.
 Between the two mirrors is a small little "canyon," if you will, that separates the two realms. This is where the Mirror Dwarf lives. This little dwarf controls "traffic" between the two realms' rip. He owns a little lever he turns to put an indestructible glass sheet in between the mirrors. He lives on the job.
 When the first rip appeared a special meeting was called to prevent the "cursed humans of the cursed human realm" from entering into the magic realms. The decision was made to place a spell over every land that ever has and ever will exist. The spell would protect realms by spawning at least one dwarf and their home between each rip to control the "traffic." Ever since then, Mirror Dwarfs have existed in their ever so humble yet very important lives and jobs. Without them, alien invasions would be a reality and mirrors would be extremely dangerous. We owe much of our safety and well-being to the Mirror Dwarfs and the intelligent creature who created and invented them. 

                                                 Section 2 of Chapter 1

   The very tiny "realm," if you will, between mirrors is a void of death and destruction. The Mirror Dwarfs are highly intelligent in the form of building and have made highly safe dwellings above the seemingly bottomless void. The void has never been explored, and if you have a calling to explore it, be my guest.
 The void separates us and the alternative world. It is all that keeps us separated. Every time that you reach for the mirror to touch it, the glass is rolled out.

T here was once an old dragon named Smokey who lived in the hills of Taimoehk. He was 100s and 100s and 100s of years old.
